Happy New Year everyone! Welcome back to the next edition of our Cozy Game Reviews! Today, we'll be covering Minecraft, which is one of my favourite games. Minecraft is a cozy sandbox game that offers players unlimited possibilities. As somebody who loves freedom and creativity in games, Minecraft immediately stood out to me. ♡
Unlike many players, I did not grow up playing Minecraft. Rather, I only started playing the game after discovering the cozy gaming community on Tumblr and instantly fell in love with it. If you're seeking a cozy adventure, I cannot recommend Minecraft enough. There are tons of modpacks out there catering to a wide spectrum of needs; ranging from beginner-friendly adventures to hardcore, horror and survival-based packs.
Some of my favourite cozy Minecraft modpacks are: BigChadGuys Plus (w Cobblemon) & Medieval MC [FORGE] - MMC4. The former is a cozy Pokemon-inspired x farming modpack that has tons of extra mods including a film camera mod, furniture mods etc. On the other hand, the latter takes place during a medieval era where you have the opportunity to start a colony and build an empire, all while an amazing, custom playlist accompanies you on your cozy, medieval journey. (Full disclosure, I took out the Ice and Fire mods in this pack as they were too destructive for my liking and added Forge Essentials for quality of life cheats!)
